Are you going to have an experience that is a little out of the ordinary?

Maybe you guys are a team that needs to be shaken together in a fun and different way. Perhaps you are a group of friends who need a cozy evening with laughs, good stories and proper gin. Or maybe you are family, colleagues or a bunch of curious gin lovers who want to try their hand at making your very own gin from scratch.

Gin School is the right place.

At GINSkolen, it's not about dry theory, raised index fingers or the fact that you have to be able to name 47 different juniper varieties in Latin before you can join. It's all about taste, fragrance, coziness, craftsmanship and that special feeling of standing with your hands in the process.

When you arrive, our hosts are ready to welcome you in GIN School's atmospheric rooms. There is, of course, an ice-cold Gin & Tonic ready, so you can land, find your way and get in the right gin mood.

Then your host welcomes you and tells you briefly about the Gin School, the evening and about the world you are about to step into. You will get an introduction to gin, botanicals, distilling and the many small choices that combine to make the difference between a regular gin and a gin you actually remember.

And then it breaks loose.

You become Master Distillers for an evening.

You have to smell, taste, choose and compose your own recipe. Should your gin be classic and dry with lots of juniper? Fresh and citrus-driven? Soft and floral? Spicy, offbeat and a little more daring? You decide for yourself.

Along the way, our hosts safely guide you through the process so everyone can join in. It requires no experience, only curiosity and the desire to taste one's way forward. We provide equipment, raw materials, gin knowledge and robbery stories. You make for a good mood.

As your gin takes shape, there will naturally be time to taste good gins and tonics, talk about the differences in styles, hear stories from the gin world and get an insight into what really happens when a gin is distilled.

It's an experience where you both learn something, laugh a lot and go home with the feeling of having done something yourself.
